Personal Information – information about an identifiable Customer recorded in any form.

RutexNet shall identify the purposes for which Personal Information is collected at or before the time the information is collected.
PRINCIPLE 3: Consent.
Every reasonable effort is made by RutexNet to ensure that the Customer understands the purpose of the Personal Information. A Customer’s consent is obtained as required for the collection, use or disclosure of his or her Personal Information, except where it is inappropriate to do so.
PRINCIPLE 4: Limiting Collection
RutexNet limits the amount and type of information it collects to what is necessary for the identified purposes.
PRINCIPLE 5 – Limit Use, Disclosure and Retention
RutexNet does not use or disclose Personal Information for purposes other than those for which it is collected, except with the consent of the Customer or the use or disclosure is authorized or required by law. RutexNet only keeps Personal Information for as long as is necessary to satisfy those purposes.
PRINCIPLE 6 – Accuracy
RutexNet keeps Personal Information as accurate, complete and up-to-date as necessary, taking into account its use and the interests of the Customer.
PRINCIPLE 7 – Use of Safeguards
RutexNet protects Personal Information against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification with security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the Personal Information, regardless of the format in which it is held.
Principle 8 – Openness
RutexNet makes specific information about its policies and practices relating to the management of Personal Information readily available to its Customers.
Principle 9 – Individual Access
Upon request, RutexNet gives Customers access to their Personal Information and an account of its use and disclosure.
