Dry Loop on Fibe Packages
Dry DSL is currently provided free of charge on all of our Fibe packages, please indicate whether the Dry loop is required when placing your order.
Use Your Own Modem
For 7/10/15Mbps packages you can use any ADSL2+ compatible modem.
For 25/50mbps Packages, you need to have either “Sagemcom F@st 2864” OR “SmartRG SR505N” modems.
Static IP
You can add Static IP to your service for additional $2/mo.
**Dry Loop On Legacy 6Mbps
Basic Setup – $19/onetime
Installation up to a Demarcation Point aka NID (Network Interface Device) aka “Bell Box”. Suitable for experienced customers who know their way around inside wiring.
Full Installation – $119/onetime
Includes installation/rewiring of one phone jack inside of premises.
Suitable for customers who want a hassle-free installation. Qualified technician from Bell will be dispatched to your premises to ensure the service is up and running to one of the phone jacks inside of your home.
Dry Loop Monthly Rate
On top of your regular monthly cost, you will also be charged for so called “Band Rate”. Essentially this is a fee for leasing a line in your particular area. The actual cost would vary based on the density of population in that given area, the denser the population, the cheaper the cost of leasing and maintaining your Dry Line.
